KindFolx is a single player PvE real time deckbuilding card game! Follow Reinus in his quest to settle a 10 year grudge and liberate the city of KindFolx from its corrupt leader!
Story
Once upon a time there was an orphan monsterfolx by the name of Reinus.
They were young and ambitious and aspired to become a part of the Monster Army, in order to overcome their origins, defy human oppression, and protect their fellow monsterfolx.
Once upon a time there was a monsterfolx who was young and ambitious and aspired to be a star of the Monster Army.
On their 17th birthday, Reinus became of age to participate in an early recruitment for exceptionally gifted monsters of which they’d eagerly awaited.
They failed miserably.
… Not only were they laughed at by their peers, but as a parting gift, the recruiter in charge of the trials, Darlocke viciously remarked, “No one wants a weird looking mutt like you on the face of this army! If you wipe that stupid smile off your mug, maybe we’ll allow you to be our laundry boy or sumfin’!”
Reinus broke. (To. Their. Core.) They’d spent their entire life dreaming of this day, and here they were. Still alone. Still invisible. Still made to endure the inexplicable cruelty.
Reinus would disappear from the face of the world, and in that time a war between humankind and monsterfolx would last for 9 years, with the monsters rising victorious, and KindFolx, the world’s first official cross species city would be erected thereafter.
Darlocke would rise through the ranks during this period and become the ruler of KindFolx, while toting democracy he would use his influence to corrupt monsterfolx and oppress human kind.
On this particular day however, a challenger whose sole purpose is to dethrone Darlocke will arrive in the city as the sole hope of those who still believe in equality between the species.
Their name is Reinus and they’ve been training 10 long years for this moment!
